On the 21st of May 2012, Fabrizio Ajello, a contemporary artist living in Florence, Italy, introduced me to some of the abandoned buildings in the city. One of them was the Ex Meccanotessile, a previous textile factory. Since 2003 they have been plans to use it as a center for Contemporary Art but nothing has been achieved since then. Walking around the building, I saw these bollards in the middle of a pedestrians’ area.

For the exhibition Do It Right When No One Is Looking I placed some bollards at the entrance of the art space.
